RFB stands for Rifle, Forward-ejecting Bullpup. Why forward-ejecting? Because it allows the RFB to be the first truly ambidextrous 7.62 NATO Bullpup ever developed.

The patented, dual-extractor system maintains control of the case from the moment it leaves the magazine and upon firing, pulls the fired case from the chamber and lifts them to push them into an ejection chute above the barrel, where they exit.

The Bullpup configuration and tilting-block mechanism allow the 18" model to be only 26.1" long, or as much as 14" shorter in overall length than its competitors with equal barrel lengths. Furthermore, the stock and mechanism cross-section is similar to a conventional rifle, in stark contrast to existing Bullpup rifles

Fantastic rifle, as always Kel-Tec is right on top of everything, I had problems with ejection when using a suppressor and they were right on top of it with a new gas piston THANKS kel-Tec

Won't eject cases. Tried different gas settings. It's the gun.
I have 2 other keltecs, and they don't work either.

Lots of fun, I can technically hunt with it in my state.
It's better and more reliable with a suppressor, I'd recommend saving up for both!

I did my research before buying it and I’m totally satisfied with it. I did pay less than $1000 for it right before Christmas. I see now it’s over $1100. As soon as it is under $1000 I will buy another one.

quick delivery after purchase. I’ve put 100 rounds through it and not one miss feed or jam so far. I’ve kept the gas valve at half for cheap ammo and quarter valve for good brass. Layaway at Bud is super reasonable and a great option for anyone thx

Absolutely the best 7.62 out there along with my husband socom 16. Take your AR 15s and even the AR 10s...we will take the bullpup and socom16 for any home defensive or boar hunting over any AR. I used to love my AR 15 and my husband had his AR 10....now if it weren't for sentimental reasons we would sell them. But that was how we met. We were at the outdoor 200 yard part of the range and I was just trying to get over my fear of the AR 15 when a guy asked me what kinda rifle I had...he helped me sight it in for 150 yrds... then we set our sights on each other. Happy 20 years babe....Tam

I've got 250 rounds so far through my RFB. I love this rifle. It is very unique and has a few demands of the shooter for optimum function. Breakdown and reassemble several times and get to know it inside and out. Learn and tune the gas system, it definitely makes a difference but is easily tuned for different ammo loads. Learn how to manage problems that might occur with ejection, the forward ejection ramp is definitely different but nice to have your ammo in a pile in front of you rather than scattered all over 30 feet behind you. It's tight and takes some break-in. So far, it eats everything I feed it, brass and steel. I haven't had any trouble with shooting 1-2 MOA @ 100 yds. It is very loud; I usually get a lot of attention at the range. Had one shooter move down a couple of benches last weekend due to noise/blast. Kick is very soft compared to my 03-A3 '06. If it's available, get it.

Great gun!!! Best deal around!! People sure do hate on Kel Tec but this thing works great, two clicks of the gas adjustment and no issues with cheap dirty steel cased ammo. Can't believe this thing is a hair shorter than my kids Cricket .22!

I also have a Tavor bull pup and was not impressed by this one. Has an innovative, but complex design which is much more prone to failure than Tavor. Disassembly is more difficult and was not able to fire more than 3or 4 rounds without an ejection failure. Finally, one round became so jammed in chamber after firing that I have spent last 2 weeks trying to remove it unsuccessfully. I feel that the action on this firearm is too complex and picky with ammo to justify the purchase.Too bad!

Oh yes! I love this thing! I've been holding out too long. After my KSG purchase I decided to give Kel Tec another go. After a bit of research I decided on the RFB. Every body and their dog has an AR10 or 15 of some sort. If you want something different, This rifle is definitely unique and reliable. A head turner at the range, especially when your neighbors see your spent casings eject out the front. Excellent NATO or .308 take down power. I have found that This rifle is very sensitive to the ammo that you use. It is designed with NATO rounds in mind, but will take .308WIN without a hitch. You may or may not have to adjust the gas system, which is easy. If you can turn on a light dimmer switch in your house, you can adjust the RFB's gas piston setting. Once you have a preference on ammo and brand stick with it!
