I bought this for my granddaughter, and she loves it. From the bag to the scope she just can't stop talking about her first rifle. She (after only sighting with 10 shots) was able to hit a 10" square target @ 65yards. It will be something cherished and learned with for years to come! My daughter loves this gun. Excellent first rifle. This kit is the way to go. If you plan to ever use a scope you will need the mount.
