Howa-Legacy 5 + 1 Black Synthetic 223 Rem. w/Nikko Platinum 4-16X44 - 24" Barrel, 5+1 Rounds

Outstanding weapon, laser sighted it in my yard and went to the range and shot 1" groups at 300 yrds after breaking it in. Buds was quick to deliver and no problems with the FFL. Was surprised at the accuracy out of the box, but the twist is 1X9 and as long as you don't exceed your limits a wonderful gun and fun to shoot. A bit heavy, but at the range this isn't an issue, but if your carrying in the field on the hunt, after a full day you will know you carrying something. For a .223 paper puncher I don't think you can do much better for the price. Thanks Buds!!

Excellent Rifle. I enjoy shooting this gun, smooth trigger and very accurate. Buds was very easy to purchase from, I will buy from Buds again. I had one problem with the gun, after the shot, the bolt would extract the spent casing from the chamber but would not eject the shell. During further inspection into the problem, I saw that a corner was missing off the extractor. I did not notice this during my inspection upon transfer but it was evident that something wasn't right from the first shot. Other than this small problem, I could not be happier.

I bought this gun back in october 2011 and can only say...WOW... The scope was easy to install and I pumped Fiocchi 55Gr FMJ, Hornady 53Gr V-Max and Federal 55Gr Nosler Ballistic Tips through the gun with out any problems. about 1'' to 1 1/4" MOA at 100 yards. Prairie Dogs at 200-225 yards were no match for this gun. Did not get the chance to go coyote hunting yet. The gun was easy to clean very comfortable to shoot and extreamly adjustable, I added a harris bipod for bench and prone shooting which helped stabilize the gun. This gun weighs 10+ Lbs with scope but well worth it when accuracy counts. I can not say enough about Buds Gunshop, as the item was in stock and shiped to my FFL within days and was exactly what I expected. Well done Buds!!!
