Howa Varmint Rifles are built around the proven M-1500 action and a
24-inch hammer-forged bull barrel in either non-glare blued finish or
matte stainless steel. The trigger is mounted in a solid investment-
cast steel housing with a two-position safety that blocks both the
sear and the trigger, letting you load and unload single rounds while
the safety stays fully engaged. Recoil pads and swivel studs are
standard.
