The MLR22AT will give .22 LR rifle shooters something to get excited about. The ambidextrous lightweight thumbhole 10/22 stock is made of polypropylene with fiber additives for maximum strength. The stock comb height is designed high enough to comfortably and properly shoot with optics. The stock design also features a semi palm swell on both sides of the pistol grip, and a molded-to-fit hard rubber butt plate attached with screws. This rifle will be equipped with the Magnum Lite revolutionary patented graphite bull barrel, exclusive to Magnum Research. The patented uni-directional graphite fibers, parallel to the bore axis, results in a barrel with six-times the stiffness of conventional steel. The lighter barrel weights (from 13-16 oz, depending on barrel length) are easier to wield and dissipate heat up to 43% faster than steel. The result is rim fire performance of extreme accuracy. Other features include a .22LR Benz target chamber designed specifically for semi-automatics; full floating barrel for maximum accuracy, CNC-machined receiver from 6061-T6 aircraft aluminum forging with an integral weaver-type rail for optics and a black anodized finish. The MLR22AT has an approximate weight of 4.25 lbs, barrel length of 17 inches, and over all length of 35.5 inches.

All I can say is WOW! First thing I noticed when opening the box was a very nice FREE hard case that I was not expecting. Then my experience just got better. The firearm is a beautiful piece of American craftsmanship. Pictures don't do it justice. Very nice balance and smooth action. They don't advertise coming with a trigger job, but they do. The trigger was much better than a factory Ruger. You don't have to spend any additional money to "trick it out", Magnum Research has made every improvement over a Ruger that you will ever need.

This gun costs twice as much as a factory Ruger, but you get way more than that in value.

An almost too good to be true bargain.

This little rifle is everything I had hoped it would be! Being a man that hasn't done any over the past 20 years, I'm looking forward to enjoying some squirrel hunting. Very lightweight and feels great in the hands, should be perfect for packing through woods. Accuracy seems to be top notch also. Have only put Remington Target and Winchester High Velocity HP ammo through it so far, but no hiccups. I would like to add my rifle came with sling studs already attached and nice hard case, neither of which I was expecting (a pleasant surprise). Buds has been very easy to do business with and shipping was faster than anticipated. I WILL be a returning customer! Overall opinion = You can't go wrong here folks!

I own MANY Ruger 10/22 and several bolt guns that are very acurate and that I have much more money in. BUT this gun is extremely accurate, we have a 200 yard range behind the house and married with the Nikon BDC 150 in my opinion has been a wonderful pairing. At 150 yds this combo is consistant with groups of no more than .630". I have had that at 100 yds with guns that cost twice as much. I am now debating on changing a few of the barrels on the others to Magnum Research. So, would I recommend this rifle? YES YES YES!!! Thanks Bud's for a great transaction!

This is my third firearms purchase from Bud's; it is the first I feel compelled to review. Simply put, this little rifle is a shooter! I fired it for the first time today. Conditions at the range were windy. Once I got it sighted it and became familiar with the trigger, ALL five-shot groups from the 25 yd line were one ragged hole groups. That's with 40 grain CCI mini-mags. At 50 yds, the wind really took over and getting tight groups was an exercise in futility; not the rifle's fault. I can only imagine what this rifle will do with standard velocity/target ammunition. I am telling you, this thing shoots better than my Savage MKII TR with the Rifle Basix trigger upgrade. Also, regarding reliability/feeding, I was a little concerned because I'd seen several reviews on Youtube describing feeding problems with this rifle. i fired 220 rounds today with NO malfunctions of any kind using the mini-mags. I don't know how it will do with bulk ammo; frankly I don't care because I never use cheap ammunition. Now, the trigger is a bit heavy, but it breaks clean with no creep. That would be the only upgrade I'd consider with this rifle. I am very happy with my purchase and with the service I've received from Bud's.
