Quality was much better than expected. Very satisfied with this gun and the scope. Relatively affordable ammo makes this a great gun to have, and the lever action gets smoother each time I visit the range!

I gave my new 336W a good swabbing down with Hoppes and the bore is lookin great.. I had to do some polishing on the stock and metal too. Factory gunk looks awful but it is a necessary evil.

The action is a bit rough but that too is normal. I have worked the action A LOT and it is smoothing down nicely. The real exam came at the range at 50 and 100 yards. I always shoot close in when I sight in. I didn't get MOA groups, but I am not a MOA shooter at either range...yet. With my 22's I am a dime sized shooter at 50 and a dollar shooter at 100. So it will be just a matter of shooting in the barrel and finding the roght ammo. I am liking this rifle already.

It is accurate, and fun to shoot. I need to extend the buttstock. I need a bit more pull. Other than that...she's a 10! It is my forst levergun and my first real 3030. My first lever gun was a Daisy. : ) I wanted a Red Rider but Ma was afraid I would shoot out my eye.

I've had this gun about a year, now and I have no complaints. The lever action was a little stiff at first and the scope that was included had to be adjusted a little but all that's to be expected. After a year, I've got tight groupings at 100 yards and the lever is much easier (though it wasn't bad in the beginning). The thing that was not expected was all the emails from Bud's updating me on the delivery status and how fast I received the rifle! Thanks, Bud's.
