There are many options on the market today for a low priced bolt-action rifle. But the true test of what an inexpensive rifle should be is not just the price. It should be the cost vs. quality and features, this is where the T/C Venture delivers. With its 5R rifled precision barrel, adjustable trigger, Hogue traction panels, Melanite Coated Bolt and Guaranteed MOA Accuracy, there is nothing that can come close to what the T/C Venture offers for under $500. The T/C Venture is also USA Made and backs the famous T/C Liftime Warranty and with 16 available calibers there is no problem finding the gun you are looking for. So this year when you go to buy a new bolt action rifle don't sacrifice quality and features, get the T/C Venture.

Great rifle. Very accurate. Action is a little tight to close. Im assuming it will loosen with break in.

Overall, I am happy so far with the Venture.
The trigger is decent and easily adjustable.
I am surprised with how smooth the bolt is, reminds me of a Weatherby Mark V.
Weaver bases installed are a nice touch.
I am not a fan of synthetic stocks, but the stock is stiff and does give you a decent grip.

I did notice when dry firing testing the trigger out, the bolt is very stiff to lift up. Never had that happen on a rifle before. May be nothing to worry about.
The rifle is accurate, bullets holes will touch each other if I do my part. Shots were with Win. 55 grain PSP.
My only concern at this point is the polymer type magazine and safety.
The magazine just holding up to wear and tear and developing burrs from loading the shells into with use. I guess one can always buy another magazine.
The rifle feeds and ejects fine, no hiccups.

If it was offered in other calibers I want, I could see myself buying another one so far.

Buds service is A1.
