FN SCAR Semi-Automatic 308 Winchester 10+1 Capacity 16" Barr - FDE/Tan

Greetings, I train hard on tactical handguns and rifles with Shaw Ryan and his team at Vigilance Elite, www. vigilanceelite.com. Shaw is a retired Seal and his team are all former Special Ops pros. When I told Shaw that I recently purchased a SCAR 17S through Buds Gun Shop, he checked with other students and he and his team designed a 2 day intensive course to get familiar wit hthe weapon and develop tactical skills to handle it. Everyone is very pumped up about learning the right way to run the weapon and become proficient with it. Some of Vigilance's instructors ran the weapon in the Stans and can't say enough great things about it. At an outdoor range yesterday I ran a magazine through it in a controlled "get to know you manner". Silky smooth describes the experience with a subtle yet all business feel of the power coming out of the business end. I love the weapon and can't wait to really learn how to run it. Ok first as always thanks to buds my online firearm adventures is always smooth. I waited a couple of months before i do a review on my scar. Yes originally came with one 10 rd mag. I ordered 2 extra 20 rounds just because i knew i would be shooting it alot. After i received it in january it has taken a whole new different form, i have upgraded it with the x-products aluminum lower which allowed me to use pmags that i use for my Repr. Well i sold the repr because i have a scar heavy now as my main go to whatever happens scenerio. As for the rifle in 4 months i was able to fire 3400 rounds through it without cleaning it and it would still shoot trust me guys this review dont do the Scar justice you have to own one to experience what im talking about. Best recoil non snappy but long enough to not make you reposition if your standing. Yes the price is high but is the rifle worth it? Yes if i could have gotten this before i baught the repr i probably would not have baught it. Cant get the scar in one payment 90 days is good too, get it before its gone again.

Couldn't be happier with this rifle as well as Buds. The rifle arrived in great shape and in a timely fashion. The Scar 17 is everything everyone has been saying about it. It's light and very well balanced and shoots half inch groups at 100 yards, not to mention every time you pull this out at the range it's like walking into a room with the most beautiful girl you could imagine expect a lot of admirers!
