Made by Uberti for Taylor & Co, the Quickdraw carbine starts out as a Model 1873 Cattleman, with the addition of a walnut stock and 18" barrel. Revolver based carbines such as this one were a relative rarity, but some examples do exist in history. This modern day reproduction features a color case hardened frame and walnut stock with brass butt plate. Like all Taylor & Co 1873s, it as functional as it is attractive. This carbine can stand up to the rigors of competition and will stand the test of time.

Beautiful fit and finish. Excellent bluing and case-hardening. BUT, myself and others couldn't shoot it. Seems the top of the stock is too high to get your cheek low enough to line up the sights which made it useless. I sold it.

This is a high quality rifle that is fun to shoot and just fun own as well. On the range it draws attention and positive comments every time. The quality is outstanding and I expect to own this rifle as long as I own firearms.
