These newer import/production rifles seem to have better build quality than the older ones. Came with cleaning rod, slant muzzle brake, bayonet, 2 mags (one tapco one steel), and a nice blonde hardwood type of furniture. Very minimal mag wobble and strait sights. The gas block is very slightly canted to the left, but I do not expect it to cause any issues. It cycles smoothly and slides freely into battery. I was hesitant buying sight unseen but after receiving this it is definitely better than what I was expecting.

My first purchase from buds. I put this on layaway and paid it off in a little over a month. Reading reviews I was scared. Ignore those old reviews. This is the new wasr. Mine did not have anything canted. A little mag wobble but most AKs have that. With a loaded mag their was no wobble. Unfinished wood furniture so you can stain it yourself. Everything is new it seems. The internals are immaculate. Needs a little cleaning overall. But it all is put together very well. Do not hesitate. I am very satisfied especially after all the reviews.

WASR came with unfinished hardwood furniture ( much nicer than the laminate I was expecting). Came with 2 mags. 1 tapco polymer and 1 metal that looks new. also came with a cleaning rod and bayonet.

Got it home, disassembled and cleaned it thouoghly. Removed all wood pieces and spent the week finishing them with a hand rubbed tongue oil finish. No stain required.

Took it to the range today and put 100 rounds through it without any issues. Sights are accurate and action cycles flawlessly. Magazines were a little tight at first but loosened up as the day went on.

Overall very pleased with this purchase. Highly recommend the WASR as and entry level AK.

This is my 4th purchase from Buds and I'll be back for more. Thanks

Very disappointing. Poorly put together rifle. I've been waiting a long time to purchase a AK-47 and already have a AR-15, and was very excited when I ordered it. When I received it, the receiver cover was off and took me over an hour to get it back on, and after that it would fall off every few time when I pulled the slide back. The trigger pin is very loose and keeps falling out and is very unsafe. The stock doesn't look like the photo and is bare untreated wood without any clear coat or lacquer on it. It also looks like a used rifle, even though it says new on the tag. It came with a beat-up old bayonet that looks like it is from WWII, and with two magazines. One metal magazine that looked used and rusted, and one polymer one made by Tapco. I am afraid to take it to the range with the issues it has. I would definitely not recommend this rifle.
