Manufactures sell bulk deals at times and it is reflected on the sale price. If they had a big run they will sell off to major dealers like Buds at a great deal and they pass that onto you. I have 4 American Rifles and they are amazing for the price you can not beat it. Only way they could improve is to include rings but I am sure the costs would come up too. Hope you enjoy the .270.

I have the very same color stock Ruger American in .270. I love the gun, it has a great trigger (adjustable with no creep) and is accurate. I feel this is a great deal!
