Michael, The Ruger American Ranch Rifle introduced in 2012 has a lot of great features, but is only offered with a synthetic stock. Helps to keep it light weight but is not rigid enough to keep it super accurate. A company that makes wood stocks for this firearm is Boyds. www.boydsgunstocks.com Check them out.

Michael - yes you can, from Boyds, for around $225 bucks. Added to the price of the American Ranch, this would get you a pretty nice rifle WITH a wood stock from the factory.

Very impressive bolt action. Despite the short barrel; used this for Antelope and took a 250 yard shot and successfully harvested my goat. The trigger is nice, the bolt is smooth a silk. Accurate! Mounting a scope with the existing mount was a breeze. The magazine was good quality. The stock despite synthetic, felt solid. Very impressed with this rifle. Would recommend.
