had the 92 about a yr now. no mechanical flaws whatsoever. fit and finish is beautiful. have about 500 rds thru it and am truly pleased. for those upset about miroku, just be glad there's a winchester still to buy. brownings been using miroku for yrs now and turning out awesome rifles. a little pricey but compare it to a henry or a rossi. you pay for the best. very accurate with leverevolution. love this rifle. plan on getting the 30-30 sporter. love me some levers.

Had to wait ten days before I could put a few rounds through Winchester's little beauty. I am in favor of giving it five stars for fit and finish as
well as five for Bud's fine service. The gun is a tad on the expensive side and I have justified buying it buy the old saying, you can't take it with you, and if the cost doesn't hurt your budget why not.
The first shot was some what on the wild side and that is always expected. The rest of them formed an acceptable pattern for a new gun.
I am very pleased with it and looking forward to putting some meat in the fridge with it. The only thing, and it is in no way the gun's fault,
it does kick me a bit due to my physical size. (doesn't fit all that well) I can't objectively campair this model to any other like gun as the only lever gun that I have ever fired was my dad's old 45-70 model 86. I was about 13 and didn't any more than that one shot.

Just picked up, pretty to look at, lever action is a little wobbly, but is smoother than I expected. Haven't shot it yet. Wanted this Winchester in .44 because I was worried about a Henry Big Boy .44 being too heavy. I researched this rifle as much as I could online before clicking the "Buy" button, and nowhere did I see "Made in Japan" until I took it out of the box. It's a little thing, but it bugs me. I assumed Winchester was made in the USA. Bought a Rossi Rio Grande at the same time, but I knew that was made in Brazil.

As usual, good and easy to do business with Bud's.
