The best AK variant I've owned - surprised of the accuracy of this rifle. The Irons are good and I just put on a Holosun Red Dot and it's a great grouping at 100 yards.

If you want a fun to shoot, hard hitting,reliable gun, this is it. Magazines are easy to find. Never had an issue running after hundreds of rounds. Solid and well made and just cool. Very accurate as well. With buds price I bought a second one.

NOTE: I haven't shot the rifle as yet so all comments below are based on initial physical review - hence the 4 star rating.
A very solid rifle, all internals are in great shape. Some positives that weren't mentioned in the product sheet, those being the Zhukov stock is expandable and the grip has a compartment for small items. The photo doesn't show it but there is a lever under the stock that, when pressed, allows you to adjust the length of the stock. This is in difference to the 6-position collapsible stock available on other rifles. I'm of average height so the stock as-is fits just fine. If you're over 6ft, this will be of good use to you.
I added a Tacksport Red Dot Scope Mount Picatinny Weaver Scope Mount (NOTE: See this video on how to adjust the mount as it does not come with instructions - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZgheTtv6GqY ) and a Sightmark Ultra Shot Multi Red & Green Plus Reflex Sight . When locked, the mount and sight are firmly attached with no wobble or slop. The true test will be when the rifle is fired so standby for an update.
I ran a patch down the barrel then used a laser boresight and from a 30ft distance it was slightly to the right of the post, at 25yds it will definitely be a bit more to the right so I would suggest ordering a sight adjustment tool.
When ordering, I choose the Cash Discount payment via e-Check, ordered on 18-Sep-19, and the rifle was received on 27-Sep-19. Considering the 5 day check clear, 2 day shipping, and a weekend in between, the rifle arrived as scheduled. So, if you are not in a rush to receive something, take the discount. This gave me a lot of time to review the rifle and the accessories I added. Downloaded the Owner's manual from Century Arms (the rifle comes with the manual as well) to review operation of the rifle.
On those points so far, I am pleased. As stated, I'll update the review after a little sight tuning and test firing.

Excellent rifle. Red Army optic mount is solid on the rail provided. Has been running flawlessly so far. No surprise to me. Century Arms has really done an excellent job.

The firearm arrived at my FFL in perfect shape with absolutely no damage. I cleaned and oiled it and headed right to the range. I ran 250 rounds through it without a single FTF or FTE. I was shooting at 100 yards with iron sights and once adjusted they were dead on. If you are going to buy any AK variant, buy a proper sight adjustment tool. After shooting I broke down the weapon to clean it and everything looked as it should. No signs of any wear noted however, it is far too early to see if any of the issues people were having with Century's cast bolt carrier and bolt will appear with this unit. I love everything about this weapon and I am a huge fan of Bud's Guns Shop. I just wish they treated their paypal gift cards like cash instead of credit cards when it comes to firearm pricing. If you are considering this AK, I say go for it. If you are concerned with the bolt/ bolt carrier issues that some people had on early models you can always replace them with Polish AKM parts which are readily available. I saw a YouTube video this morning where a completely stock C39V2 has 3,500 rounds through it and was only starting to show signs of wear and still was safe, as in not going into battery with a "No Go" gauge in the chamber.

Can’t say enough about Budgunshop’s customer service. I’m the type of person that buys based on peer reviews alone, buy now shoot later. I use Buds layaway optionmost if the time and there have been issues that were completely on me and this company has always been quick to resolve it to my advantage. It doesn’t matter if you end up with junk, it WILL BE resolved. This said, this C39V2 is so well made, and so cool to hold and shoot, that I highly recommend it. Don’t be fooled by the haters, and some of the negative reviews. Yes, you can get cheaper, stamped models. But if you do, in the end, you’re gonna wish you opted for something better. So why settle and compromise. Just work a few hours of overtime and get exactly what will make you happpy ( happier ). Thanks Dan

Milled? Yes! For their price point.... This is an absolutely awesome AK! I have owned other historical milled AKs by others. Really do like them... super smooth recoil. Gobbles the ammo well! Stays on target very well. With open sights..... U can literally pull the trigger as fast as you can and make that metal pie plate at 100 yards ring consistently. Don't let one of these pass you by!

Great rifle. Put about 200 rounds so far without a problem. I've read some reviews of people having issues with the carrier and bolt I've had none of those issues. I use high temp bearing grease to lube it and clean it after range days.
