This product is kick a**. There isn’t a cooler gun in my safe (and there is more than a few in there). I have to admit that I was nervous about sending an e-check to an online company. It turned out okay though. The gun came promptly and on time to my local ffl. The really great part was the price. This gun goes for as much as $1100 on gun broker and other websites. I also got a lifetime warranty from buds. The warranty and the gun together was the same price as the same gun with the less nice furniture at Academy. I am very pleased with the product and buds as a whole. I will be ordering more guns from them in the future. One thing that you may need to notice about this particular model is that it does not have the side mount for a scope on the receiver. As far as I remember in the description it is not obviously stated that it does not have the side mount. I didn’t want the mount because I’m not going to put optics on this gun, but for someone that does just know that you may have to order the other one in the site. Buds dun a good job. .

I love shooting this rifle. Works much better than my I.O. I've only shot a few hundred rounds through it but it worked flawlessly with all the different magazines and ammo I used. Pretty accurate too. That being said, other people have been having issues with the bolt (may be cast instead of machined? I'm no expert) and headspacing. Might want to look into getting replacement parts at some point (Bolt, carrier, spring, might need a dust cover too, I'm not sure. Like I said I'm no expert.)

This is a solid product from Century. Fairly heavy, but very little recoil for the caliber. I have approximately 1500 rounds through so far, and all internals are holding up well with no unexpected wear.

Nice gun... Fit and finish are excellent. Real fun to shoot. Need an ak? Can't go wrong with this one. Noticed when looking in to these the first guy to do a review complained his didn't have a side rail. Well if you notice carefully Bud carries both... one with one without. Check them descriptions closely and you'll get what you ask for. Need a side rail? Check out AK Master Mount. Put one on mine... works great. Yeah I had noticed... but changed my mind after getting it.. iron sight are not intended for old eyes... 3X prism scope...

I've known of Century Arm quality issues but I thought i'd take a chance on this product based upon all the positive reviews on line. Well I made a mistake....I took transfer of the gun and once I got it home I found it's missing the side mount for the optics. Now I have to work with Century Arms to try to resolve the issue!

Just got out today and shot this AK and this thing is awesome, very low recoil for an AK, I also enjoyed the fold away stock, Thanks Buds

Can't say enough ! took it out to a outdoor range today and it is pure fun to shoot, accurate and ran flawless ..... fit and finish quality is way up there..... shot about 400 perfect rounds. Best of all it is 100% American : ) , love the gun and of course as always, love the Bud's excellent fast professional service, pleasure to do business with........ I think I will buy another one with the traditional AK furniture .

Century Arms raised the bar on this one. Fit and finish are perfect. Almost too nice for an AK style rifle..... First online firearm purchase, Buds was great. If you want a nice AK this Is it.

Shipping time was to be expected for the holidays. Ordered on the 12th and I got it on the 23rd. Just in time for Christmas! It was dry so I oiled it with some Hoppes No9, the black bottle. I went to my local range today, fired 200ish rounds of Monarch and Tulammo. No ftf or ftl issues. It is fun to shoot with the stock folded. The extra weight seems to take almost all of the recoil. No mushrooming or other signs of metal fatigue. If I can post updates later on I will once I get to a few thousand rounds. Side note, this is no fault of BudsGunShop. UPS sent it to the wrong FFL, but after a few hours they realized the mistake and took it where it belonged.
