This rifle was a christmas present for my son. It is a light rifle but it has a good recoil pad to tame a lot of the recoil. The rifle shoots very well. The adjustable trigger helped improve accuracy. The bolt feels loose when cycling but locks solid. Mossberg makes quality firearms right here in America which made this purchase even better. Hopefully some weight can be added to the buttstock to tame the recoil more. I would recommend this rifle to others. As usual Buds service was perfect. This rifle was purchased the same time as a handgun. The handgun was going to make it by Christmas, unsure on the rifle. Watched the shipment on the website during a very busy time. Both arrived at the sametime in time for Christmas.
