The classically styled Mossberg Patriot looks great on the gun rack and feels great when shouldered. Attractive, accurate and affordable, this bolt-action rifle comes standard with Mossberg's patented LBA trigger, user adjustable from 2 to 7 lbs, and Weaver-style bases. It has a spiral fluted bolt with a knurl pattern to ensure smooth, comfortable and reliable cycling. The 22" fluted barrel is matte blued and has a recessed crown to ensure accuracy and durability. It comes with a drop box magazine for convenient loading and unloading. This Patriot model has a black synthetic stock and features a 3-9x40mm Vortex Crossfire II scope. With long eye relief, a fast-focus eyepiece, fully multi-coated lenses and resettable MOA turrets, there's no compromising on the Vortex Crossfire II. Clear, tough, and bright, the hard anodized single-piece aircraft-grade aluminum tube is nitrogen purged and O-ring sealed for waterproof/fogproof performance. The Dead-Hold BDC Reticle's customized hashmark design helps eliminate guesswork on holdover and windage corrections.

Great rifle! Thisnrifle met my expectations and then some. This is a must have for any hunter. It gives you alot of bang for your buck, very accurate and affordable.

Mossberg Patriot delivered as advertised. First day at range zeroed in rather quickly as the first shot was already on paper. I have put only 40 rounds through but so far looks, feels great and was worth the money. Very satisfied with Buds and Mossberg.

First bolt action & I love it! Weight is fairly light to moderate trigger is awesome & crisp, fluting on barrel is nice asthetics along with bolt which is pretty smooth no binding pushing with 1 finger, vortex 3-9x40 scope is clear accurate shots out the box after 3rd s.i 3.5 m.o.a off then 32 shots later all within .75" at 100yd! 270 Winchester I'm glad I chose this caliber so far! Mossberg really has a budget winner $423 out the door 22" 270 w/vortex combo!

Extremely accurate, quite beautiful, and shockingly affordable. Mossberg made their name in shotguns, but this rifle is going to change things when it comes to hunting rifles. My go to rifle now at any price.

First time ordering with buds. I placed order Sunday night at 11pm had gun in my hands by 2pm on Wednesday. Pretty amazing considering it was Sunday, December 18; the week of Christmas! The gun itself is amazing. I was looking for a budget bolt rifle and trying to get as many of coopers scout rifle features as possibly. I got the synthetic stock and with fluted barrel and bolt weights in a little more than 7lbs. A detachable 5 capacity magazine (270) that are actually easy to find online or local gun shop/sporting good store. I was really surprised at the quality of recoil pad. The vortex sight is great easy to operate, water proof, fog proof. The crowned barrel is another awesome feature that I'm sure will prove it's value in the months to come. An adjustable trigger from 3-8lbs and smooth out of box. All together this is a great rifle and dead accurate and all for about 415$ and will be in your hands in a matter of days. I don't see how anyone would pass this deal up as a first time hunting rifle, scout rifle, add a caliber to your arsenal or just have a spare for friend. I might get another in 25-06, I will definitely be shopping with buds again! Thanks!

What a wonderful experience. Shipped within a week and received in perfect condition. - Not too thrilled about the synthetic but the price was right for my budget and the lighter weight makes it easier to carry and handle. Bore sighting was way off so it took a few rounds to get it dialed in..you just can't beat the quality of the "Vortex" scope .. Consistent 3 shot 3" pattern at 150 yards.. The bolt action is a little loose and the plastic magazine left something to be desired but all in all a great rifle, scope combination. - Went out late afternoon and dropped the first buck of the season with one heart shot at roughly 275 yards. Thank you "Bud's Guns" for helping make this a great experience!
