The MVP LC (Light Chassis) Bolt Action Rifle features Mossberg's MDT LSS lightweight aluminum chassis and Magpul® adjustable stock. Love this gun. Got it fast and pain free from Bud's Gun Shop, (my favorite gun dealer). Was packaged in factory box with Viper scope that is awesome. The gun shoots flawlessly and is an incredible experience to shoot. It is not like any other gun I have. It is loads of fun to shoot. You can feed it any .308 ammo and it will perform well. Currently shooting military grade spire point brass shells. I bought this gun just to make the "thousand yard milk jug challenge" I saw on the inter net. Have been able to replicate the shot more than once. So much fun. the scope is powerful and awesome, it has a life time warranty on it. The gun has the lifetime warranty also, I always purchase this warranty when I buy a gun, (thank you for offering it Bud's). The gun looks awesome and is just a blast to shoot and carry. Would hunt with it without hesitation. Bolt cycles well and is spiral. Fluted barrel can take shooting all afternoon without getting too hot. Nothing sounds like it that I have. I love the flash hider, it also relieves a lot of pressure . Usually shoot 80 to 120 rounds in an afternoon with it. The gun is so easy to take down for cleaning. The over size bolt is really helpful when chambering a round. Favorite ammo to shoot in it is 180 grain anything, 150 shoots well also. Best ammo through it so far has been 180 grain Sierra Match King. Spire point seems to be the least affected by wind deflection, however, I love this gun , cause I have hit targets at 1000 with 180 grn. hunting loads (lead point). Mossberg knows there stuff and continues to give us what we want. I highly recommend this gun combo. It functions well , and is awesome to own. Definitely continue to buy from Bud's Guns. Straight forward deals on guns is there trade mark, and customer service and support has been stellar. Thanks again Bud's for my American made gun. The gun looks great, unfortunately I have been unable to fire it yet because I live in California and have tto wait 10 days after the gun arrives at the authorized FFL dealer. You know because Angry people order guns and wait for them. I examined it and it looks beautiful.

All I can say is great experience with buds, will buy from them for now on. The rifle is great, tack driver, hardly any kick at all, it can definitely reach out there and hit targets and put nice tight groupings as well. The optics well it's vortex what more can you say. Overall extremely impressed with service and rifle.

Great setup for the money. Super happy with how the rifle preforms, it's a tack driver. The viper hs-t is a phenomenal optic as well. Definitely recommend as a beginner long range rifle.

Mossberg out did themselves with the MVP LC 308. The day it came in off to the range I went. Once boresighted in at 100 yards I was surprised how close my groups were and the Vortex scope was crystal clear. Firing from a prone position I felt very secure and stable once I leaned into the bipod. Bench firing also resulted in stability and accuracy. The MVP LC 308 ran through Federal Gold Medal Match 308 Winchester 168 Grain Sierra MatchKing HP with no issues. What am I saying? I love the rifle.
