This is a pretty good AK if you just want to have one but, of course, this is a 22 so do not expect a full experience of an actual AK used in the military. It's fine to use for target practice but it did jam quite a few times, something you would normally not expect.

This is an awesome gun. I have other AK rifles and this is as good as it gets for an AK 22. Lots of fun to shoot, get one while you can. If they come back in stock I just might have to order another one. 399.00 is a good price. Bud's was excellent as always. Fast shipping.

Beautiful weapon. I haven't even taken it the range yet, but after field stripping it for an initial cleaning, I'm in love already. Quality is excellent. I'll post more post-range comments, but as far as the product and Buds service, a big 5 stars! Buds kept me informed every step of the way. I no longer look anywhere else. It did arrive missing one small rear stock screw but I've emailed ATI and am confident that they will send me one, or I'll just find a replacement. No big deal. The FFL had the box open and rifle out when I walked in the door, and the screw could have gone missing then. (By the way, they were raving about the rifle as I walked in, and continued to say it was a great deal!) One last tip. Put some locktite blue on the inner screw that fastens the interior safety lever. I've heard rumors of people freaking that their guns were defective, but actually it's just a loose screw. AK-47 chambered in .22 Long Rifle, what's not to like. Very nice build quality and feels good in the hand. You can afford to shoot this one all day. A keeper.

I received my gun last week in two days despite some initial FFL problems which Buds Gunshop resolved. They really rock! The gun is a little heavy but built like a tank, like all Kalishnikovs. I have fired several brands of ammo through it (with the exception of Remington, which Alex did not recommend). This rifle does not require the high priced HV ammo as everything I've tried has worked. It has worked flawlessly and I would recommend it. The fit & finish were very nice as well. The sights are VERY accurate and I can almost match my scoped rifles in accuracy.

Just got this gun on Saturday and blew about 300 rounds in two days. This gun is a lot of fun, just like any other .22 cal gun you will get some misfires but that is mainly the ammo and not the gun. From the 300 rounds fired, I had about 6 misfires where I had to lean the gun over the the round came right out. My wife loved this gun over the 22 rifles I have. Fires very true and pretty accurate and fast. Had my doubts when I ordered it but after shooting it, I am very glad I did. With cheap ammo get ready for an addiction with this gun.
