Love the piston AR! It makes cleaning the rifle sooo much simpler and fast. The Model 8 is also very accurate and reliable. Have had zero issues with this quality rifle.

Fantastic rifle! Have had it for about 1 year now, 500+ rounds down-range, has yet to misfire or jam. Gas-piston operation makes it so much easier to keep clean. Buds, as usual, was prompt on the shipping process.

Awesome price for an Awesome rifle! I did months of research and decided on the Stag Arms Model 8. Shot american eagle 55gr through the rifle and every round went off without a hitch. I installed a POF roller cam pin to reduce receiver wear and everything seems good so far. The steel mag it came with is sturdy and reliable. The case isnt meant for constant use. Very flimsy but I bought a rifle not the case. Lifetime warranty, very well put together manual and the craftsmanship of the gun is top notch. High quality Piston Ar15, dont let brands or price cloud your decision on which to get. Simple and reliable piston design and proven company. What else do you need?

Yet another excellent purchase from Buds. Very fast shipping, I ordered my Stag on Monday and picked it up on Friday. I pulled apart the rifle and cleaned it, everything looks great. I recommend purchasing a POF roller cam pin to protect the upper from premature wear. The diamond flip up sights are great. I can't wait to receive my EOTech 512 and install it. The piston works perfectly, the bolt carrier group stays very clean. I highly recommend this rifle! Thank you Buds!

This is my first AR-15 and I am nothing but impressed. It runs flawlessly with both steel and brass ammo. Handles P-mags just fine. Great quality and value. The diamondhead sights are really easy nice. I think I will be a customer of Stag (and Buds!) for a long time.

Great rifle, have fired over 500 rounds with no problems at all. Like the diamond shaped sight aperatures, sight picture comes together fast and the same after every shot. With the piston drive system it is very easy to clean with little or no fouling in the carrier bolt receiver area, unlike the DI system that has all the gas expended in the bolt carrier receiver area. Had waited months doing endless reviews on different AR-15 manufacturers and models. Finally decided on Stag 8. Have only had it a short time but am extremely satisfied with my purchase. Shoots good, handles great, not one malfunction thus far. Now my wife wants one. Of course Bud's guns had the best price that also included shipping. Have purchased 5 different guns from Bud's and continue to be extremely satisfied.

I love my new Model 8. It shoots great and is very accurate. It eats up everything I feed it. The reason I am giving it 4 Stars is because I am having trigger issues and it is being sent back to the factory for a new trigger. It does not reset when the trigger is released. Other than the trigger issues, I love this gun.

I shot 250 rounds with no problems at all. It shoots alot cleaner than the average ar. I also noticed it does get hotter when shot than most. The rifle also shoots accurate. I think it is as good as some of the higher priced gas piston rifles.
