Excellent... very accurate no problems

I found no functional problems with this rifle. Accurate, reliable, well built. I liked the built in scope base. I found the roller lock mechanism difficult to reinstall when cleaning compared to my other rifles. Also with the bolt out there was a long cave like dark space in the receiver before the cleaning rod got to the chamber and barrel. I kept wanting to get a flashlight and have a look. None of this may bother the next guy of course, but I traded it. The gun is solid though, a performer that does exactly what it is supposed to. I would have liked a longer barrel though, but I say that about most modern rifles. I don't clear buildings or train for CQB, so a 22" barrel is short enough for me, and 24" would be better!

Great Gun. If you want a well made, straight shooting and nicely finished rifle that is cheap to shoot, buy this one. Doesn't always take metal AK magazines, but metal reinforced Magpul magazines are inexpensive and durable anyway, just buy some and mark them. There aren't many choices in 7.62 x 39 riflles, AK with stock, AK with folding Stock, AR15/47 products from various manufacturers, SKS rifles and now this. You will like this gun. Shoots easy, straight and accurate and is easy on the wallet. Buy One, you'll be glad you did. I am!!!!!

So I picked up my rifle and to my surprise it had green furniture instead of black but I'm okay with that. I didn't test fire it so I came home to clean and try my various AK mags to see which work. I'm extremely disappointed that only the magpul magazines seem to work non of the steel surplus (ribbed and nonribbed) would even lock into the rifle. I know PTR says 7 out of 10 magazine are compatible but out 5 different magazine I tried only 1 worked.
