I got this AK at a ridiculously great price using the Make an Offer option offered by Bud's. This was my first AK purchase. Overall I'm very happy with the platform itself it cycles flawlessly and I haven't had any issue internally, the sights were a little off but then again I was shooting in an indoor range so I might've to re-adjust when I go outdoors. The furniture on the rifle especially the bottom rail wasn't secured and was coming off when I held the hand grip support, a little loctite seem to help. The loose gas chamber issue has been addressed since mine came with a gas tube spring pre-installed which makes it a lot sturdier. Stock is a little wobbly but sturdy when firing and absorbing recoil. Overall a very badass looking gun that turns a lot of heads at the range best of both worlds, AK with AR custom-ability, so there's a variety of options available if you want to upgrade or accessorize. Pro's: It's made in Russia by Izhmash, you're getting a Russian Rifle from it's legendary origin. (It's currently banned from import which makes it even more appealing) Upgraded to accommodate accessories like an AR so you're getting best of both worlds. The Tapco trigger is amazing comparable to a Glock. The extended mag release makes it easy to remove mags and being a lefty this is gift. It's an AK MADE IN RUSSIA. Upgraded grip with lots of strap options. Stock is functional and cheek piece is sturdy. Side mount It's an AK they run forever. Great Price. Con's: US Palm Magazine that came with gun is garbage continuous FTF's buy spare prior to receiving. Hand guard rail was loose (easy fix) No space in stock to store tools (Personal Preference)

As always, Buds was great. This rifle is great at the price point. I was going to buy an Arsenal but I opted instead for this. I wanted a real, made in Russia, Saiga. So I went with this tricked out AK, which was $500 cheaper than its Arsenal counterpart. The bad: The "tricked out" furniture is better than I expected, but not optimal. As other reviews stated, the pic rail on the gas tube is useless. There's no way to hold zero when your mount wobbles. Also, the cheek rest isn't the greatest (it's a bit loose and you cannot tighten the vertical movement), but it does the job. It holds its place, even after a couple hundred rounds, which is really important, because you will need the cheek rest. You cannot see the sights without it. I'm afraid that I'm stuck with this stock tube as it's riveted into the receiver. No flash hider. The good: The pistol grip is well-made, comfortable, and comes with PLENTY of back strap options. The vertical grip is also well made and of sound quality. With the exception of the stock tube, the rest of the furniture can be pretty easily swapped out and upgraded, so I don't really care that much. The gas tube furniture is really the only thing that's less than par. But in my opinion, it REALLY doesn't matter, because the gas tube is the worst place to put your optic IMHO. The Saiga receiver has a latch that you can attach a side mount with a pic rail. There are several options out there. So again, the gas tube rail really is forgivable. However, the best upgrade on this rifle, is the Tapco trigger. It's crisp and breaks right where you want it. Literally, the best AK trigger I've ever squeezed, and I've squeezed a lot of AK triggers. I like the pull on this rifle even more than the SAM7. So that's saying a lot. The stock buffer pad also makes the recoil surprisingly more tolerable. Lastly, this is the real deal. This is a real Saiga AK made by Izhmash in Russia by Russians with a chrome-lined barrel for under $1,000. So just get it already.

My IZ132Z is here. Beside of a couple cosmetic flaws which are only noticeable if you look very closely, everything is great! Factory magazine fits fine and I will take the advice of others and seek Tapco mags. I also have old eyes so I took some Testers white and emboldened the post and rear site. Must be careful when doing this. At seventy-five yards it was good enough with five shot groups at about 4 inches. I wish it had a muzzle break but because it doesn't I can pick my favorite. This gun is solid and accurate. I still need to test rapid fire. No feeding problems with only firing twenty rounds of Silver Bear 123 grain bimetal hollow point. And of course, Buds' was great and I had it in three days.

First it did not say on the ad but THIS DOES HAVE THE MOUNT for a scope adapter. I heard it can be a pain to get mags to fit. But I got 2 Tapco 630's and they fit and feed fine. Ok for the plus side this thing looks great. It eats all the ammo I have thrown at it so far and says give me more. That has included Wolf, TulAmmo, some Chinese all in SP and FMJ. The fore-grip and adjustable stock are nice features. Mounted a light and a laser on the quad and put on a scope mount with a red dot.. It is kind of pricey but I like it. Buds was dealing with a blizzard so that delayed things a bit but I recommend them all the time. On the minus side. The quad rail is plastic. I had to take it off and align it when I got the gun. I don't know how they got the locking collar on to be honest Sights are a little hard for this old man to see so I painted the post bright white. Overall this is a great go to gun. Looking at a pig hunt in the fall and was going to take my 06. But not anymore.

I recently received my rifle and took it to the range. RWC converts russian Saiga IZ 132 carbine using CAA parts. What can I say, russian parts are good quality. American parts' quality vary, though. Trigger group is nice and action is smooth. Mag fits snug with a tiny, acceptable play. I ordered 6 extra TAPCO mags for $8 each and they work flawlessly. A big disappointment was the cheap 'tactical' hand guard from CAA,.The upper part with picatinny rail had 5 mm play each way, that made it absolutely unusable not only for optic, but for anything. Will have to replace it because its cheap appearance does not get along with the other relatively good quality components and remarkably degrades overall look and feel. The lower had guard has acceptable quality and the front handle sits tight. 6 position butt stock is alright, has a little play which I can accept. Rifle shoots accurately and flawlessly even cheap 124 g Wolf ammo I used to warm up with it. I would not pay MRSP of $1100 for this rifle, would rather get an Arsenal. However, for $840 delivered I would say it's a good bank for your $.

Just received this rifle today. Although I didnt shoot it yet I inspected it for fit and finish. I give it 3 1/2 stars out of 5. The magazine that comes with the rifle fits great. But when I tried out a magpul and and a steel magazine the fit was not so great. I think the magazine release extension it comes with might be the problem. I had to force the other magazines in and out. Also when I put the buttstock in the fully colapsed position I had to hit it to get it to lock in position. For the money I was a little disapointed. I have been more pleased with my CIA AK. just my opinion.
