Overall I am very pleased with this shotgun...for the price.
The nickel finish is not perfect. the sand or bead blasting underneath the nickel is a bit uneven, thus the plating follows suite. My particular example has a small area on the right side of the receiver where the plating has flaked off (about 3/32" x 1/32") I did not see this until I had it home from pick up at my dealer. I doubt that I would have had it sent back if I had seen it.
The action is very tight and smooth (not too tight, just right) the finish of the bore is outstanding...better than my Remington 870 Tactical !!
I have not shot this gun yet but have cycled rounds through it and it has functioned flawlessly and smoothly.
The lettering on the barrel and the serial number on the receiver are not stamped but appear to be punched on with a series of closely spaced "dots", not pretty but serves the purpose.
I also bought the blued version as a gift at the same time I bought this nickel version. Were I to make the purchase again I would probably go with two blued vs one blue and one nickel...But, for the price I can't complain. You will get more than your money's worth for sure...Remington should take note or lower their prices !!
