The MP221 reinvented the classic side by side rifle while maintaining accuracy in both barrels at an affordable price. The MP221's elegant appearance and light weight underscore the reliability derived from the MP220 design. Accuracy in both barrels is achieved by use of a ribless joint between the barrels, the loose fit of the RH barrel into the front sight sleeve and the use of jackscrew between the barrels to set zero. Features include: mono-block machined steel receiver with deep blued finish; extractors; auto-tang safety; double triggers; chrome-lined hammer-forged barrels; and a high quality hand-checkered walnut stock and forend with rubber butt pad. This MP221 has adjustable rifle sights with a 4.3" inch dovetail rail for mounting optics. It is available in 30-06 Springfield or 45-70 Govt.
