Clarification: when I said Mossberg, I meant the Maverick; which is a Mossberg brand, only lower quality but still as reliable.

The service from Bud's was as always great, no complaints there.
My complaint is with the gun. Is hard to load, shells don't go in the mag easy; fingers catch on the lever when loading; definitely don't count on reload in a rush if you need to: make the best of those 5 shells. The gun looks solid, plastics quality is good. I had problem to chamber it a couple of times, takes some shaking, which is annoying. I tried to sell it so I could buy the Mossberg I want, from Bud's, but since is made in China, has really low resale value, even almost new like mine is after 30 shots. I wouldn't recommend it for home defense. Spend $20 extra dollars and buy the Mossberg from buds, much more reliable.

This was my first purchase from Bud's and I am very pleased . I mean Bud's is Bud's, and as my favorite
dealer in PHX says; "No body does it better". This will not be my last purchase from Bud.
When I recevied the shotgun I was floored. I never expect such quality for under $200. The gun handled like a dream.

I recently purchased this 12ga but I didnt write a review until I shot it at the range. Well, for starters I have to say bud's delivered this 12ga within 3 days of my purchase date which is excellent. As far as the range report, 5 stars... Very well built shotgun for this price. I put a pistol grip on this badboy and went through 75 rounds. Word of caution, when you switch grips- USE low - recoil rounds... If you use regular 00 buck/slugs/ or mag loads , you will be shortening your range time for sure cause you hands and wrist will be in hurting. This isn't my first purchase from buds, and I will purchasing other items in the very near furture. By the way, believe it or not this guy at the range had the same exact 12ga and I asked him how much he paid for it, he said 300 plus... When I told him what I paid for mine he was in shock. You Cant Beat These Prices....

This was my second purchase from Buds, again it went smooth, The gun itself is just a basic Home Defense Shotgun, as soon as i got it, i cleaned it real good (it has that brown grease all over it) oiled it up with some Remoil, took the magazine plug out of it (That increases it to a 5+1) Threw a Hogue Tamer Pistol Grip and Forend on it, just remember this gun is a very close clone of a Remington 870 so there are a ton of Accessories out there that fit it, after i finished with it i took it out and shot a few shells thru it, and now it rests fully loaded with Buck Shot under my bed just within my reach for any 'Anti-Home invasion' activity that should arise.

I bought this shotgun for home defense and I was on a tight budget so I took a chance since the price is unbeatable. I know, thats risky and I would'nt suggest anyone buying a firearm they havent "shaken hands with" but as I said, the price is unbeatable. When I got to my FFL dealer and examined the rifle I had to check the box to be sure I had the right shotgun. I was expecting a rattletrap for the price but this thing is SOLID and the finish looks great, you would never guess that it is a sub-$200 weapon. I took it out the following day and fed it about 50 shells ( cheap ones at that ) which it fed and fired without so much as a hiccup. If you are looking for a reliable, solidly built affordable HD weapon look no further. My buddy is ordering one now since he got to shoot mine. He was skeptical because of the price but it made a believer out of him.
The only complaint (if you can call it that) I have is the lack of interchangeable choke tubes but I dont hunt so it doesn't really matter that much

I bought this gun from a local gunshop, and I love it. It's an excellent home defense piece. Add a pistol grip and you have the best in home defense. It has a lil kick to it but what do you expect from an 18.5" bbl.
