The Deluxe is available in 12 or 20 gauge with 26 or 28 barrels with a durable satin chrome finish that is very durable and corrosion-The flagship of our over/under line, the tried-and-true Redhead also gets our new 1-piece CNCed receiver. In addition, it gets the same laser-cut checkering, solid mid-ribs, pistol grip and a classy white bead. The Redhead Premier is a true all-purpose shotgun, it s just as comfortable to shoot at a sporting clays event as it is when chasing chukhar in the mountains. With a silver receiver and ejectors that kick out the spent shells automatically, the Redhead Premier is packed with features that can t be found on another shotgun in its price range. Turkish Walnut stocks, independent auto ejectors and 5 flush-mount choke tubes, all inside a hard plastic case.

Very difficult to break over the gun and to close it. tolerances are very tight making it difficult to use hunting or even sporting clays. I have had to break guns in to loosen them but never had one nearly this tight.

Ran my first 50 shells through my new CZ Redhead Premium, 20 ga. The gun performed flawlessly. No issues with ejection of spent shells. Weight and length of barrel resulted in easy handling, swinging with the clays and overall shooting experience. Good looking gun for the money.

Just got a chance to try this new over/under. It's very light, easily tucks into the shoulder and it's very easy to line up on target. Solid weapon that I strongly recommend trying out.

The Gun is disappointingly heavy proportionally for a 20 gauge. I am not happy with it. CZ doesn't seem to know what it's selling. The published spec weight for the gun is 6.7 lbs. but it's closer to 7.7 lbs. It's only a few ounces lighter than my Browning Citori Lightening 12 Ga. There is a hazard in buying a gun sight unseen based on manufacturers specs. The gun's fit and finish are outstanding especially at it's price point. Closely tolerance and cleanly machined. The wood is nice straight grained walnut that fits with only a slight stand-off from the metal. I really wanted to like this gun but it's just not what I was looking for in an upland shotgun although it could be a good sub-gauge sporting clays gun. It's pointless to lug around a 20 ga. this heavy when you can lug a 12 ga. Normally I'm anxious to try out a new gun but I haven't bothered to with this. Going to try to get rid of it and recover some of my money.
