Winchester Model 101 Sporting O/U 32" 12 Gauge Shotgun - 32" Barrel, 2 Rounds

The gun is beautiful. Lighter than my Citori but I was glad about that. I got the 32 inch that I can use for spirting and trap. It shoots 55/45 Came with 5 choke tubes. The most constructed two chokes were labeled IM and LF. If that means light modified I’m not sure as the difference in constriction. Have not shot much only several shells to get an idea for patterns. I am very pleased with the purchase

1) I am 100% satisfied with the process of my purchase through Buds Gun Shop. The communication was excellent, the product delivered well within promised time frame, product had no shipping damage. I would highly recommend Buds Gun Shop. 2) I am Unsatisfied with Winchester. I ordered a Winchester 101 Sporting that was listed by Winchester as having Grade II/III walnut. When I inspected the gun at my FFL, I was disappointed to see that the stock is Very Plain, straight grain walnut, no swirls, no depth, absolutely nothing close to Grade II. I did not purchase this gun for it's wood quality, so I decided to accept the firearm, but even so, if you (Winchester) list your product as having better than average wood, then you should live up to your word. I took a picture of the butt stock of this gun, as well as a picture of the butt stock of a $550 Marlin. I wish I could post them here, because the grain on the Marlin puts the Winchester to shame. Please contact me if you have a method to receive and post these pictures. 3) I shoot in 3 different trap leagues, so I see about 60 shooters a week. I will not proactively bad mouth Winchester, but if I am asked about it, I will truthfully say that if anyone is considering buying a 101, don't expect Grade II/III. 4) Winchester could salvage my impression of their commitment to their customer by contacting me and offering to replace (or send me) an actual Grade II/III stock.
