Does anyone know of any other DAO 1911 style Pitol with the grip safety?

Hi Jake. Unfortunately not, Colt made one for a short while called the Colt Stable, then abandoned it. Para Ordnance/USA of course was the other one. You may get lucky on (B) un (G) roker - "just switch the B & G website.

companies have tried da and dao 1911s in the past and they just have not been good sellers you may try contacting Remington as seeing if they have any plans to make them as a lot of the Para guns have been reintroduced as Remingtons TEL: 1-800-243-9700 also check with the major auction sites like G(un)B(broker) and G(uns)A(merica) Remove ()

The LDA Agent comes in .45 ACP & 9mm, LDA Double action. It has a 3" Stainless match grade barrel and a stainless steel frame & slide. It has EGW Fire control, full length guide rod, HD extractor, Dawson Precision magwell, Trijicon Night Sights, Beavertail grip safety, checkered mainspring housing (25 LPI) and black IonBond finish with Cocobolo Checkered Double Diamond Grips. Model comes with two 6 or 8 round magazines.
