The Extreme series Red40 measures a compact 5.6"x4.75"x3" with a large 8 MP resolution and features 40 red glow IR LEDS for well-illuminated nighttime pictures out to 50 feet. It takes videos or still photos imprinted with date/time/temp/moon phase and has built-in controls and a 2" color LCD screen for reviewing in the field. The Red40 features a time lapse mode along with adjustable PIR sensitivity for up to 70' of detection. It features pipe-through security to allow a python cable through the main housing making theft without tools less likely, or use the threaded tripod insert to set up off-tree. The Red40 has up to an 8GB SD card capacity, and operates on 12AA batteries. The only difference between Red40 and Black60 cameras is in the flash, so hunters can decide if red IR has an effect on deer and not sacrifice picture quality.
