Browning 4 + 1 270 Win. w/22" Barrel/Oil Finished Grade II W - Blue/Black, 22" Barrel, Wood Stock

This is the best hunting rifle. A beautiful rifle and a MOA shooter. Never had a malfunction out of it.

Having successfully hunted for elk on several occasions with a borrowed rifle, this year I decided to finally get my own firearm. Friends recommended the Browning semi-auto. I looked at several places for this particular Browning BAR (.270, grade II finish) but Bud's was the only place to have it in stock PLUS was cheaper than anyone else. It shipped promptly and arrived at my local FFD dealer here in Washington state just five days later. The gun is beautifully finished and immaculate - what I'd expect from Browning. I had a Leopold scope installed and have taken the Browning out to the local quarry for some test shooting several times. The action is smooth and rapid, no problems with 80 rounds through it so far. The semi-auto feature absorbs most of the kick, so follow up rounds are easy to take and keep the sights on target. The gun comes with shims for the padded stock, which I used to make the stock a bit longer - a nice touch. As for accuracy, I can rapidly hit a Tide cardboard laundry box five out of five at 200 yards, should be good enough for elk. A top quality gun, good price and quick delivery. I'm a happy customer!
