The Hunter EX features solid-frame construction for durability and strength, with sealed actions (to keep out dirt) and self-adjusting locking bolts. The sub-gauge models are made with lightweight alloy and built on a true frame and all the parts have been built to scale - including the stock, forearm and receiver. Hunter Series shotguns are made for all aspects of hunting and shooting with performance, reliability and value at the forefront. They take to the field as easily as the range with exceptional quality and classic style. The wooden stock and forearm features cut checkering. Each one of these over/under shotguns comes standard with fiber-optic front sight, vent-rib, chrome-lined barrels and a top tang barrel selector and safety. Ordered on a Monday and had the gun in my hand on Wednesday. Buds had superfast free shipping and a great price. Shotgun arrived in brand new factory packaging. A+++ for Bud's. Now for the Shotgun. If you want an affordable double barrel that shoots where you point it this is for you. If you want to impress the girls at the range this won't do it. The inside of the receiver had a couple of burrs that had to be filed down. The action locks up nice and tight. Everything lines up great. The stock is nice - almost too nice. I might strip it and refinish it. It's very shiny. The bluing on the is excellent and the receiver has a laser engraved scrolling that is tastefully done. When I patterned it both barrels shot exactly where I pointed them. I've put 200 shells through it so far and it's functioned flawlessly.
