Used this ammo on a prairie dog hunt. Still enough velocity and bullet performance to blow'em up at over 200 yds as long as you compensate for wind and trajectory. Easy on the shoulder!

Dang. Out of all the calibers I own, the .22 hornet is one smooth operator. Shoots hot, fast, flat and delivers a mega heavy hit with zero kick! These rounds are top notch. My better half loves shooting these rounds. Jack Rabbits would beg to differ!

Re: Hornady .22 Hornet 35gr VMax. Not really just a good product-- it is EXCELLENT! Unbelievable accuracy in my Ruger No.1B (tapered barrel) (0.25" @65yd.) and CZ 527 Lux (1/2" @ 65yd) with 5 shot groups. I am not sure it is worth my while to hand load with off the shelf accuracy like this. (But I will try to duplicate or better this). Better prices and shipping costs than local or internet suppliers, too.
