NOVA Distraction Rounds is a Mega-Blank with high intensity muzzle flash and concussion. It should never be fired directly at persons. The intense blast signature and flash are intended to serve several purposes: ideal for use as a warning shot, disorient and disable an intruder, alternative to firing a projectile in your home and can be used as an alternative method to control or redirect dangerous animals. Advantages: little or no risk of fire, no fragmentation, generates little or no smoke to reduce visibility. Creates the illusion of a much larger weapon being discharged. Use extreme caution using this product around young children and friendly pets. Can cause great harm or even death if fired directly at a person at close range.

Have you ever been at the range having a good time, when, the person next to you starts to have "little man syndrome" and begins firing off a 500 magnum to get everyone's attention? Well, the Nova dr is an EXCELLENT response. This is hands down the most concussive, obnoxiously loud, fireball throwing round anyone will have at the range. (Unless you have a black powder cannon). This round would also be great for New year's Eve, 4th of July, birthdays and redneck bbq's. In no way would I ever use this in a defense situation and neither should you. This would be considered a "warning" shot which is always a terrible defense plan. They could be used in a perimeter alarm system. They will definitely wake up everyone within 1000 yards. I compared these with 3" slugs in my 590 Shockwave. The slugs are no competition when it comes to noise. Buy them when you can find them!!
