I'm having a ball with this little gun . The wife and I was out to the pistol club three days ago and we put 60 or more rounds through it no problems . It's a 9 mm and we are shooting a load of 4 grs 800x pushing a 122gr cast lead bullet. Now if I move up to 6 grs your going to notice a little recoil. To fix that problem take a short piece of 1/2 inch pipe fome insulation get out your Red Gren duct tape or black electriction tape and make a little recoil pad. I guess I've ran way over 200 rds through this thing of different loads and it shoots pretty darn accurate. At about 30 ft the wife kept them in a 4 in group mine was more like 6 or 8 I think it's my glasses .at least that's my story and I'm sticking to it. For about $230.00 it's a fun gun to take out to the range,it gets a lot of looks. I'm hopping the company can produce them and sell them in that $200.00 range

The gun is great but I'd like to talk about Bud's. We all know that they are the best with prices and availability but their Customer service is among the best in the business. Thank you Buds!!!

Buds did a great job of delivering their product. However the weapon itself is not fun to shoot. Even the 9mm stings the palm of the hand when fired. Just my personal opinion, but am looking to sell this item asap.

I couldn't resist buying this at the unbelieveable price Bud's offered it for. Ordered it on Friday and received it Wednesday. I had two concerns, First being all the talk of severe recoil. No problem there, not a all day at the range gun but no pain after firing 10 shots. Second was spent cartridge extraction. Again, no problems. Most of them just shook out and the few that didn't were easy to extract with a flick of a fingernail. I can't see it as a primary weapon but for those of us who like a powerful BUG, this is the gun for you. P.S. in's a 9MM.

Ok so first, I was waiting for a deal on this since I thought MSRP was too much for a derringer. What I like, modern design, tip down barrel, double action design, spare stripper in handle, outside fit and finish. What I don't like, chambers and rifling are rough, no way to remove shells without prying out, light primer hits, although they have all gone off. Now the rest, shot the 9mm unported barrel with standard loads, ouch, pulled out some light loads (1060 fps out of 4" barrel 115 gn), those were tolerable. With the ported .45 barrel I did not shoot standard loads, I made some low recoil loads with 185gn hp. They recoiled about the same as the 9 with lighter loads. Not something you want to shoot often, but I have fired around 50 shots while developing loads. (several days). I would recommend low recoil loads, this is a short range gun, good for about 7 yards. My purpose was shot loads for snakes. Using Speer 45 colt capsules, and both 8 or 9 shot, it puts 10-12 shot in a snake target at 10 feet. Light loads around 650 fps (measured). Cant help experimenting, so flattened some 000 buck enough to get 3 in a capsule and loaded to around 750 fps, it makes a nice close range load. Puts 3 balls in 3" at 7 yards. The 185hps are loaded to 750 fps also (measured). The 3 buck load and capsule weigh 210 gn. All in all I am happy with it, just wish I could get my hands on the target grip for range time. I practice with everything so it will get shot occasionally.
