I appreciated the layaway option and shipping was very fast. I plan on making future purchases. The only thing o wish I had Mone is what generation the gun was before buying. There didn’t seem to be a listing of how old or new the gun was until it was shipped out to be and I realized it was the older model. Although I’m very happy with the price and purchase....I thought the descriptions would be more detailed. As this is my first time purchasing from this site. I’ll do more research in the future and actually look forward to purchasing my next pistol

I bought this handgun as my EDC. It’s very comfortable to shoot and conceals nicely. It came in it’s box wrapped in oil paper everything looks fine with it. Very comfortable gun to shoot. Will definitely be buying from Buds guns again. Possibly in the very near future.

Wonderfully finished pistol. I appreciate the fact that the slide and barrel are made of stainless steel especially for the extremely humid area that I live in. Gun feels comfortable to hold and recoil is manageable. Highly recommend!

Great gun for the money, I have this same gun in 9m and wanted to add a larger caliber. My 9m came with three magazines of which two had finger rest however the 40 SW came with two magazine and only one had a finger rest. My 40C also had a receiving ticket attached to the outside case indicating it was made and received in the fall of 2013. But that being said, I will still give it a 5 STAR RATING. Bud's once again was great to deal with. You can't get any better service than what the employees give to each order. Job well done.

Once again, amazing service from Buds, I ordered my gun on Thursday afternoon and had it in my hands Friday evening. I really love this weapon, it's the baby version of my full size M&P40. Some things to consider if you already own the full size version. 1 the magazines from the full size will fit in the compact, and with the xgrip you get the feel of the full size with less length. 2 I love the fact that I can use the same holster for both (uncle Mike's Reflex). I had 2 issues that Smith and Wesson quickly took care of, although the gun was perfect, the case was all tore up inside. When I called the informed me they would send a new one to me free of charge. Also this compact (for me anyway) is very difficult to hold without the pinky extensions, I called them again and they sent me some free of charge. Highly recommend!

As usual awesome job buds!!!!! Bought this gun as my new ccw pistol and could not be happier! Awesome price excellent service super fast shipping! I am a block guy who did a lot of research on .40 caliber ccw pistols and came down to this one or the glock27 and all my research kept leading me back to the m&p. I know I made the right choice. I love the feel and looks of this pistol over my glocks! The trigger is awesome,the handling is superb and you get one more round in the magazine over the glock27. If you are looking for a compact pistol for ccw I would highly recommend this over a glock. And I love my glocks, but I think I am definitely starting to become a Smith&Wesson guy, plus you will save about $100 over the glock27 and get a superior pistol. Took it to the range put 200 rounds thru it without one hiccup, very smooth. Buy one you will not be disappointed! I wish I could give it more than 5 stars.

This gun is awesome! It shoots soooo smooth. Trigger is great. No fails anywhere. Nice, light and compact. Very happy! Also, Buds service is the best! I had this on layaway and they were on top of everything. Thanks again Buds for another great firearm and the top quality service I received. Will definitely be buying from Buds again!

The M&P 40 is superb. Internet chatter says it is the most accurate of the M&Ps. My experience with this one is that it really is accurate, plus very reliable. And it absorbs recoil very well, too, no insignificant in a major caliber. I shoot this one with a variety of reloads and factory ammo types, and have never had a malfunction. Thanks to Bud's for bringing this gun to me at a reasonable price!
