We live in an imperfect world. That being said my first outing with this firearm was a disaster. FTF, SP, Locked open on last round about half the time. To top it off took it home and jammed my brush in the barrel cleaning it. Not a happy camper.
Now the good part. Contacted S&W they sent a mailing label via email no questions asked. I sent it in, they replaced barrel and did whatever they do and sent it back.
Now to make a long story short have have it back to the range twice now and it is FLAWLESS. I could not be happier that this gun has lived up to its reputation.

I shot this gun two weeks ago owned by NRA instructor. this is the finest 22 I have shot and I own 3 others. this m&p looks and feels like its brothers and no issues with Federal 40 grain and Eley Match ammo. I pick mine up on 5-09..

First gun purchase from Buds. Great to do business with. Ordered Wednesday and picked up from FFL on Friday morning. Took to the range today and shot 150 rounds of CCI mini mags and Winchester Wildcats with no FTE or FTF. I like the size and feel of the gun. Very pleased.

Buds was a little slow compared to some of the other reviews I read about 3-4 days total, mine took about a 10 days due to mix up on the FFL during check out... Gun is awesome, got it for my wife but found myself shooting it more than my M&P 40. Might be buying another .22 since we got hers painted pink. Great gun, received in perfect condition in nice S&W box.

Very disappointed with this M&P. First thing I noticed, it is HUGE. Heavy and big....made for the Jolly Green Giant, obviously. I mean, what sense does this make--who is going to shoot a .22 LR the most? Women and kids can't manage it, its too big and fat, and if you have medium hands, you can't get a good grip. They put the X-large palm swells on it with NO option to change them out--what a cheap option from S&W! And speaking of cheap, the front sight is white dot, but the rear sight is plain black--how much trouble is it to put a couple of dots on the rear sight--worthless! Cheap cost cutting design. Won't be shooting this, going to sell it right away. Never will I buy another and I DO NOT recommend.
