This is a fun little gun to fire at the range. It took some getting used to, what with the twin barrels one on top and one below. Using the forward sight (which is all it has), accuracy with the bottom barrel was spot on, whereas firing with the top barrell fired high (not unexpected). After a while, knowing which barrel was to fire, I got the hang of it.
As expected with a derringer, accuracy beyond 25 feet was not as good as 10 feet. 5 feet was even better.
I used my .38 Special ammo, since I'm still awaiting my .357 Magnum delivery from Bud's. Once that arrives, I'll give that ammo a go with it. At 20 ounces of stainless steel, it was pretty hefty, and recoil was nil. Well-built firearm.
NOTE: Bond Arms cautions against dry firing their guns. You can load either snap caps or used cartridges. Snap caps worked fine for me.

Beautiful and heavy, trigger is about 12 pounds though. Accurate for a derringer. 100% for buds. 4 stars just because the trigger. (Consider it a safety feature)

This is a very well made gun. I have shot it and no problems. I am going to get an IWB holster for those times you don't want carry your regular gun, such as trips to the store, bank machine, gas station. Buy this gun from Bud's.
