awesome-awesome-awesome.I purchased this firearm before the shtf with sandy hook. This firearm mirrors the 9mm and 40 cal exactly.It did take buds a while to get from Springfield but it was well worth the wait. I have been very impressed with the fit of these firearms.Hopefully a 1911 is on the horizon,I will definitely buy a Springfield as again from buds!!!!

I definitely picked the right gun and caliber! I couldn't be more happy with the performance, weight and ease of handling the recoil from this sidearm. Not to mention it was extremely accurate right out of the box. I thought the trigger travel was a tiny bit excessive though and hopefully with some minor adjustment, it should be perfect. I had the opportunity to shoot a 40 S&W version of the same gun and found the amount of recoil negligible. We cycled about 200 rounds through it with little trouble. The only trouble I had was cycling some reloads someone gave me but I believe it was the crimp and not the gun. If you are planning to buy this gun you cant go wrong in this caliber and with Bud's Gun Shop!

i am very pleased to say I bought my first pistol from buds. I was very skeptical about the online buy thing, but was very impressed with punctuallity of the shipment, and the updates through out the whole buying process!!! The .45 springfield that I bought is an amazing gun, hardly any recoil, easy to disassemble and clean and just over all a very well made pistol. I was looking at the same pistol at our local gun dealer and he wanted 150 bucks more than what i payed at buds.....thanks again......I highly recommend this pistol a lot of fun to shoot!
