Cure for the common pistol. Built in the Kimber Custom Shop, Raptor .45 ACPs take their name from dynamic slide and frame serrations, feathered logo grips and finish accents. While the design theme is unique, performance is exactly what shooters expect from Kimber—unequaled.

Raptor .45 ACP pistols come in a variety of sizes and finishes, each loaded with Custom Shop features that ensure dependability and accuracy. Night sights, ambidextrous thumb safety, bumped and grooved grip safety and match grade barrel, chamber and trigger are standard. Ultra models have 3-inch barrels and aluminum frames, making them easy to carry and conceal. Larger models are available in either steel or stainless steel, making them ideal for everything from duty to competition and home defense. The quality of Kimber Custom Shop pistols is on par with that of America’s top pistolsmiths. Pick up a Raptor. See for yourself.

Awesome gun! I had been looking to get this gun for over a year and finally was able to get it at Buds after every gun shop I checked with locally told me anywhere from 4 months to 1 year if they ordered it for me. I ordered it from Buds on a Sunday at noon with Monday being a holiday (Memorial day) and it still arrived at my local gun shop on Thursday! I even got it from Buds for $100-200 less then local shops were quoting me. Took it out to the range today and it ate everything I put through it from FMJ to +P hollow points. I will be a repeat customer. Thanks Buds!

This is my fourth one of these and I'm keeping it! The other three were snatched up by friends that won't buy a gun online so they talk me out of mine since they can't get one locally. Me, I have purchased over 50 guns from Bud's and they have been great.
I only picked this one up this morning. I brought it home and stripped and cleaned it and put on a set of Stag grips I had gotten for it. I took it outside and ran 100 rounds of mixed ammo without a hitch. First mag was Winchester White box and the rest was a mix of hollow points. Very acurate and what I consider mild recoil for such a small light pistol. I fired slow deliberate rounds and emptied several mags as fast as I could pull the trigger. No problems.
Fit and finish is great and I could not be happier with this little pistol.

This is actually the second of these I have had. I got the first one a couple of years ago and foolishly sold. It was a great pistol so when I saw it offered again I snapped it up. Not only is this a great looking pistol, it functions as good as it looks. Accurate for it,s size and has shot everything that I put in it. The weight and size are perfect for concealed carry as far as I am concerned, easy to conceal and packs a punch. I have several Kimbers and no matter what people say about them, they are quality made in America and are hard to beat. I don't think that you can go wrong with one.
I have purchased over 30 guns from Bud's in the last 2 1/2 years and have been well satisfied with them as well.

I have made several purchases from Bud's, and like all of the other previous purchases, Bud was super to deal with on this one! The Kimber is a good gun, but I noticed when I got it that the grips were not finished as well as they should have been. You could not
make out the Kimber Logo on one side at all, and the other was poor as well. I did not return the gun too Bud's, as I didn't want to wait for a replacement. The gun shot well with only 1 FTF in the first 300 rounds (it was the last round in the Kimber mag). I use Wilson
mags for all of my carry 1911's and the gun worked perfectly with these. I gave the weapon a 5 even though the grips were lacking. I called Customer Service at Kimber explained my problem with the grips and was sent a new set of grips (no further questions
asked or payment expected) from Kimber within 2 weeks of the initial contact. The new grips are fine, and Kimber service was A-1. Great combo Bud's and Kimbers!

I purchased this gun from Bud's about a month or so ago, through the layaway plan. Bud's was wonderful as always, and I will continue to give them my business. On to the gun. This is by far the finest gun in my collection so far. The fit, finish, everything about it is perfect. It arrived in pristine condition. It shoots far better than any Colt 1911 I have ever fired, and even with the smaller barrel, the recoil is very mild and easily manageable. A lot of people pick on Kimber's for being picky eaters, but I have fired everything from crummy Tulammo, to Federal, to Aguila, to the best of the best stuff. Not one malfunction of any kind. I have roughly 400 rounds through mine so far and I could not have been more pleased with my purchase. I have only two gripes about the gun however. First being that only one magazine comes with the gun. When you pay over $1000 for a gun, the least they can do is ship it with two magazines. Second, the takedown. This gun is somewhat tricky to takedown if you only use the included takedown tool that comes with the gun, as it is not much more than a glorified paper clip. However, I purchased a Kimber takedown tool from NDZ performance and it makes field stripping this gun a breeze, so I definitely recommend purchasing that. As it stands now, this gun is flawless. Kimber makes quality firearms, and both Bud's and Kimber have earned a lifetime customer.
