Just got my new Springfield M1a in from Bud's in od green. Shipping was amazingly fast! I haven't had a chance to shoot it yet, but I'm extremely proud of it so far. It is very impressive. The box from Springfield even included a copy of the Army's Technical Manual for the M14 from January of 1963!!!

I purchased the MIA from buds a while back. The shipping was quick and problem free to my local FFL holder. The weapon came boxed and was brand new, no issues what so ever. I went through and cleaned it up as I often do when I purchase a new firearm. Brought the standard M1A with O.D Green stock to the range to zero and "break in". What can I say this his weapon is of top quality and will not disappoint. The rifle is just plain accurate out of the box, not to many adjustments needed with the clickers windage/elevation. I was only shooting at a distance of about 100 to 150 yards or so. But if you can hold it steady with good marksmanship skills the M1A will hold a nice tight group. I was just using basic federal ammo and some Turkish military ammo, the M1A shot great as expected with the stock iron sights. I just got into reloading a little while ago but have not gotten .308/7.62x51 dies yet. When I do and mix up a load i'm sure this M1A will even shoot better once I hone my skills. If I had to do it over again I would definitely purchase the M1A again. It's just plain fun to shoot and i'll likely put some nice glass on it and maybe upgrade the stock who knows we'll see. Mike
