Great firearm, great price, and awesome service. Got the firearm earlier than expected. Took it to the range and a VERY accurate pistol. Love the grip versus the competitor. Able to consistently hit soda cans at 25 yards (standing) is enough accuracy for me. Shot hand loads, white box factory loads, hollow points all feed well.

First, let me say that Bud's service/delivery was excellent as always. However - and I hate to rain on the XDM 5.25 parade - my experience with this pistol has been far from satisfactory. In the first 500 rounds, I had 14 failures to go into battery. Fourteen. That's about 14 more than I have ever had with Glocks in calibers from 9 through 10mm. Additionally, the "loaded chamber indicator" broke at 300 rounds. I sent it back to Springfield a few weeks ago, and I have been informed by SA that they have been unable to duplicate the problem in the three magazines they put through it. They have repaired the loaded chamber indicator and are sending it back.
I will give it another chance, but as of now I do not trust it as anything other than a range gun where malfunctions are annoying but not critical. For defensive purposes and CCW, I will stick to Glocks. Perhaps my experience is unusual with the XDM 5.25 in 45ACP. If I were you and thinking of perhaps buying this gun, I would do some research on its problems. Google is your friend.

I cannot say enough good things about budsgunshop.com. I recently made my first online firearm purchase through them. They were extremely helpful and i recieved this beautiful xdm 5.25 .45 fast and cheap. I have searched and searched and you will not beat their price. This gun is like butter right out of the box. I have had it for 2 weeks and have put almost 500 rounds through it and couldnt be happier. 3 inch groupings at 20 yards everytime and i am no competition shooter. If you are thinking about buying this gun, DO IT!!! Worth every penny. Every time i visit the range i am gawked at by everyone there. Thanks bud's!!!!
