Incredible pistol. After taking it apart to froglube, took it to the range. Put 200 rounds through it in about an hour. Fit and finish are impeccable, and the pistol is one of the most accurate I have ever had the pleasure to shoot. .40 s&w had easily manageable recoil. Can highly recommend this pistol to anyone looking for an extremely accurate handgun.

This is an incredible gun! I have several Glocks. I love all of them. This gun is of equal quality, but with a lot of bonuses! Glocks come with one magazine. This one has 3 magazines. Glocks do not have stainless steel barrels, this one does. Glocks can be upgraded to a stainless slide, this has it stock. Glocks do not have a real safety, this one does that is ambidextrous. Glocks only have a right handed magazine release, this one has ambidextrous mag release. To get a Glock up to what comes standard with this one, would take almost another $500 in upgrades.
This is a an easy decision.

The US Military uses these guns.

I am actually thinking about selling some of my Glocks and buying more FN's...

I highly recommend this gun, you will be happy and delighted with the quality, performance and not having to spend a penny on upgrades!

Just got my FNS-40. I love it. The recoil is quite manageable. My only complaint is that it came with only two backstraps (straight and curved) with the aggressive checkering. It did not have 4 including serrated ones like the FNX comes with.

Overall, a great sidearm. The trigger breaks cleanly and the reset is easy to feel. I had 5 shot groups touching at 7 yards once I got used to the trigger feel. I like it better than my FNX-40 (which has been traded.) I highly recommend it.

I was lucky to find it and get it in as they are out of stock almost anywhere you look online. The guys at the range/shop were all over it once they saw it. They liked it quite a bit as well (I let them each have a go.) I should also mention that the mags are exactly the same as the FNX-40 mags (.40 S&W/.357 Sig). Buds did a great job of chasing it down as they are quite rare right now.
