Tisas 1911, did not really like the walnut grip and opted for a different grips. No problems with shooting or FTF's but I wish Bud's would have opted to put better sights on the pistol being that they went to the company personally and worked with them to develop the A2 version. Overall I am happy with the A2 and of course, Bud's has great shipping

I have had this gun for close to a year now and put about 500 rounds through it and it has functioned flawlessly. I have had only two failure to feeds and those were with reloads. The Gun shoots great and is very accurate. My only complaint is that there are no serrations on the front part of the grip. During some defensive shooting training the gun did tend to slide up in my grip because the front part of the grip is very smooth. A new over mold grip or simply drilling dimples in the front of the grip would fix the problem. All in all it is a great shooting weapon and could potentially be a great IDPA factory gun.

Straight shooter, great feel in hand. I have shoot 200 rounds through it and got 2 FTF failures. I will continue to break it in and keep it oiled and see what happens. I did get better mags after first FTF and it's still doing it. Shooting 45 acp rounds from Walmart. I think it gonna boil down to the mag and stiffness of the gun. It is a really tight, stiff 1911.

Bought this gun as a project gun. Didn't want to work on a high end gun and this gun seemed to get good reviews.
Very impressive out of the box. Finish was great, slide to frame was not to loose, and the barrel lockup and barrel bushing were good. Trigger was like I expected,...not that great.
Took it to the range and put 100 rounds of Blazer Brass 230 grain through it with the one supplied magazine. Windage was spot on but the gun shoots low. New rear sight and problem solved, no big deal. The gun ran without any hiccups. That's good enough for me on a sub $500.00 1911 so I give it 5 Stars.
That being said I will be replacing a few of the smaller parts with a higher quality ones but that is just personal preference.
I polished up the fire group controls all the way down to the trigger bow. Replaced the sear spring and main (hammer) spring with EGW parts which runs about $15.00. And I now have around a 3.5 lb trigger. Has some creep but good enough for this gun.
Overview. This gun is well worth the money. It's not a Dan Wesson or STI so don't expect that kind of a firearm. But it seems solid and very glad I bought it.

WOW. A lot more than I expected. Very solid pistol. Very accurate especially for a 1911 right out of the box. Recoil was pretty manageable even with the smooth Turkish walnut grips. Nice smooth trigger with a lite to medium pull.
