Smith & Wesson Model 686 4" 357 Magnum Revolver - Stainless/Silver, 4" Barrel, 6 Rounds, Rubber Grips, 3-Dot Sights

The Smith &Wesson 686 was sold as new. Seemed like a little more gun powder residue was left on the cylinder and other parts being from a S&W factory for a test fire. Other than that the gun came in new condition. The gun is shoots smooth and accurate. A 686 in stainless steel is a gun I would purchase again. Very happy with the firearm.

Having owned semi-auto pistols for many years, this was my first revolver and what a very pleasant surprise. From everything I've read that it is heavy and the double action is somewhat difficult could not be further from the truth. I shot better with this pistol with double action than with my semi-autos. The sight picture with the orange ramp front sight makes it easy and the trigger is very smooth.
the fit and finish is top notch and all the praise this gun gets is well deserved. Highly recommned.

Learned to shoot larger calibers on the 686 many years ago and wanted to get one of my own, really enjoy shooting a revolver and would recommend this for anyone learning to shoot a handgun. This gun is very accurate out of the box and the trigger teaches you discipline

I didn't have a good, heavy duty revolver for general use. Every revolver i had was an heirloom or had some special significance to me, such that I would baby the gun if I used it. I wanted a tank of known high quality, and the 686 is definitely what I was looking for. I actually wanted a 3-inch, but the traditionalist in me could simply not get used to the seven shot cylinder of the 686 Plus. So I opted for the four-inch, and I am happy I did. The gun looks great, balances well in the hand, and has a pretty good trigger which will get better over time. This is a great revolver. The special pricing Bud's has arranged for Qualified Professionals made it even more attractive. I'm completely happy with my purchase. If you want a revolver that will outlast you, this is it.
