Emperor Firearms .300 BLK AR-15 Upper

This looks good and is accurate. Mine is not reliable. It would not pick up the next round or lock back on empty on my lower. Based on suggestions on different blogs I added a reduced weight buffer spring and then had to take all the weights out of my buffer to make it cycle the next round. Used Remington umc ammo from Wally and hog hammer premium ammo, all supersonic, no difference. I used it to take a deer but was afraid to take it on a walk and stalk hog hunt I just went to in Texas. No place to have a misfeed. I just ordered a S&W M&P 15 in 300 from Buds to replace it. That's what I wish I did to begin with...would have been less expensive. It was fun building an AR in 300 but I wouldn't recommend it unless you know way more than I do about what it takes to make them reliable. I enjoyed the project but at the end I don't have a reliable rifle. It doesn't just need swapped onto an existing lower, I tried it on 3 different ones that work perfectly as .223s.

Well! The upper is not bad, pretty accurate considering the price. Just need a little buffing in the BCG housing area to smoothen the walls out and you are good to go to shoot subsonic rounds. Good job Guys at Emperor!
