Remington 1100/87 12 ga Stock/Forend Synthetic

I'm very happy with this stock and for end. It fit is good it gives it a tactical look and cuts down weight, I installed it on my Remington 1100 LH.one tip be sure to remove the steel spacer plate between the stock and receiver. Thanks.

I contacted Remington customer service before purchasing this stock set because I had read in another review that it does not fit on any 1100 manufactured before 1986. They replied that the buttstock would fit without any problem, but the forend has a series of ridges that would have to be ground down to make it fit, and that a "wave" washer would be needed because the synthetic forend does not have the ball detent to help keep the magazine cap from loosening. I decided to purchase it anyway, and 10 minutes with my dremel easily took care of the ridges, which are located near the magazine cap end. Just go slow removing small amounts of plastic and try fitting as you. Once completed, it fits nice and snug. Also, mine came with the ball detent, so maybe its an improved version, no washer needed. One last thing, when installing the buttstock, make sure to remove the stock bearing plate (needed for the wood stock, but not the synthetic), or you will not get it to sit correctly.

I ordered a Remington synthetic factory stock for my Model 1100 shotgun and everything was in the package except for the two screws used for installing the butt pad. Per the instructions the screws should have been included but since they weren't I had to use the screws from my original wooden stock. No big deal but Buds needs to make sure all the included parts are actually in the package. Other than the missing screws the service was great and the shipping was fast and I will definitely order again.

I just purchased this stock set for my 11-87 to replace the wood that has cracked. The parts arrived quickly, and the fitment was perfect. I absolutely love the new look of my 11-87.

Great fit, great price, once again Buds was the best price I could find. Found the forend, which was all I was in the market for, on eBay for thirty one than this at Buds. Just made sense to buy the entire thing here. Used the forend on a tac gun build. Fit and finish was perfect look was even better in my opinion.
