COLT SERIES 70 GOVT 45ACP BL LEVEL2 - Blue/Black, 5" Barrel, 8 Rounds, Composite Grips

I have had alot of 1911's and 1911 style pistols and very few Colt's have impressed me, but this is a very impressive pistol. First off the look caught my eye, so I tried to reseach it online but found very little info on it. A couple of threads said it was a custom shop gun but to me nothing on the box says so. In person to it is a beautiful pistol with a nice flat black finish on everything and a tight fit with no rattle. Novak night sights front and back. When I stripped it it had been test fired and instead of dripping in oil like most new pistols, they had used grease to lube it. After cleaning and relubing I took it out to test fire. before firing the trigger measured 4.5# and had ALOT of creep. I fired a quick 100 rounds through it and after about 25 rounds the creep disapeared and there were absolutly no malfunctions. It was also very accurate at 7 and 10 yards, so far that is the only distances I have fired it at. This pistol is a keeper and in my small opinion, most shooters, especially 1911 fans will love this Colt.

The pistol arrived two days earlier than expected, in between Christmas and New Years. That's really commendable. The fit and finish are flawless and as usual, Bud's made the process painless. I'll definitely do business with you folks again.
