Specifically designed for tactical applications with a choice of dual color reticle illumination, or just black Mil-Dot reticle. This enables the user to determine the distance of objects of a known size. The reticle is also useful for providing quick trajectory and wind drift aiming reference. The model with the illuminated reticle has a adjustable rheostat for brightness control. Also featuring Weaver-style rings, rubber eye guard, waterproof, fog-proof, and nitrogen gas-filled. They have a generous 4" eye relief and the lense are fully coated for maximum brightness, clarity and contrast.

Product was defective. Cross hairs were in an X formation. I had to ship scope back to Truglo in order to get any assistance.

Works well on my DoubleStar Star15 M4. Love the Mil-Dot reticle. You could spend a whole bunch more and maybe it would be worth it. I shoot at paper targets so what I use it for may be different than what other people use it for. Regardless, it's a decent scope for the money.
