Using original photos and hand drawings of the Gideon Welles Serial Number 9 as reference, the master plate used in the creation of the new Silver Eagle pattern was hand cut for production with full coverage on both sides of the receiver cover. The rifle features a traditional 20" octagonal barrel outfitted with buckhorn sights; a gunsmithing masterpiece that closely mirrors the original Henrys when they were patented in 1860. This rifle is lever action, holds 16 rounds and has a Fancy American Walnut Buttstock.

This is a beautiful gun, I am so glad I bought it. Henry Rifles and Shotguns are exceptional weapons, but the scroll detail on the silver plates and wooden stock are a piece of art.

Beautiful rifle delivered on time and in fine shape. My only complaint in being dunned to use a charge card. I know of NO other companies that do this. I won’t pay Bud to.take my money again.

The Henry Silver Eagle is my favorite .22 cal rifle. As all Henry Rifles the look and feel of the rifle is pure quality. We had the Golden Boy, but sold it because we loved the Silver Eagle. The engraving on the receiver is beautiful and the wood on the stock is excellent. I bought this for myself and my 10 year old daughter and she loves shooting it. The rifle as all Henry's is extremely accurate and a pure joy to shoot. We have had it since last Christmas 2016 and have over 1,500 rounds and we have had not FTF/FTE. We have shot Winchester bulk packs, CCI, American Eagle, Federal, and Remington bullets through it and have not had any issues. The lever action was smooth out of the box and gets even better from use. We both highly recommend this rifle and Buds. The price was by far the best I have ever seen and will buy from Buds in the future. Buds prices are truly the lowest around!

What else can I say, that hasn't been said! Wow what a beautiful Rifle! A work of art for sure!. this rifle will be kept as a Family air loom for Generation's to come! One that shoots great!, and the action is smooth as butter!!! Everyone one that gets to handle it, fall in love with it! And again, Buds had the best price, and was fast and friendly service! One of most beutiful rifle that I have ever see. The finish and quality is amazing. The sock in the silver to protect the engrave have no match. The rifle with out cleaning I taking to the range and after 300 round of cheap LR .22 not even 1 failure and the lever smooth like butter. Buds was amazing like always and price was better. 5 star to Henry and to Buds too.

I'll take this over a "Golden Boy" any day of the week. Absolute quality. Buds was about $90 cheaper than what my ffl dealer could get it for at his dealer cost from his wholesaler. Package showed up with outside and inside box tore open and barrel partially sticking out with boxes all damp. My ffl guy called Henry and they are more than happy to send me a new box with all bar codes and matching serial #'s on a new box. Buds...five star as always, Henry...five star, FedEx...one star.
