Buds: Incredible. Put this on layaway, made the final payment on a Monday, and the pistol was in my hands that Friday afternoon. Thank you, Buds. Pistol: Absolutely outstanding. Tight, but strips down easy. Finish is superb. It's tough and cleans very easily. Grips and front/back checkering are done very well. This is a beautiful pistol. Nothing but compliments at the range about the look of the finish and the grips. The sights are dead on, and they will start to turn green in low lighting conditions. Very easy to gather your sight alignment. Trigger is long, but breaks sharp and crisp. Accurate and true right out of the box. Recoil is very manageable as this weighs a few more ounces than other 1911s. This pistol is very well balanced. Eats all the ammo I've fed it. Over 800 rounds with zero hiccups. The pictures of this pistol do not do it justice. It's gorgeous, more of platinum shade. This pistol is a beautiful, awesome workhorse. Thank you Sig and Thank you Buds!

Great Pistol! Ordered it from Buds and the "cash" process took a little longer than I would have anticipated. Had to wait an extra 2-3 days for it to arrive. Because of a busy schedule I had to wait about a month to take it out but, it was worth the wait. This was my first 1911 and my first Sig. I put about 50 rounds through and it was flawless. Feel was great, recoil minimal, looks better than the pictures. I have Rugers and Springfields and this is easily my favorite handgun. It lives up to, and surpasses what you expect from the 1911 model and the Sig name. Great quality!

I wanted to wait until I took this gun to the range before I left a review. As usual, Buds was great with communication and shipping quickly. However, there were a couple questionable marks on the gun. At the rear of the slide on the right side, there is a darkness in the nickel finish, as if the plating is wearing off or there is some kind of dark residue that will not come off. The rest of the gun is coated great but this one area shows some kind of wear or quality issue with the nickel plating. The black metal mag well at the bottom of the handle showed markings from lead tip rounds and a couple tiny scratches. I know the gun is new and never fired, but these two eye sores really irritate me, especially after paying almost $900 for a pistol. I took the Sig to the range today and put 100 rounds through it. It was very accurate at every distance but I did have one failure to feed. The round jammed up in the breach and I had to rack the slide hard to eject it. I was shooting Federal 45 acp fmj. Federal is a brand I use often and have never had an issue with their ammunition. I love Sig Sauer pistols and would always give them a 5 star rating but since this particular pistol showed up with blemishes, along with one FTF on my first shooting, it gets a bad rating.
